In the Spanish state, annual interest rates rose by three-tenths to 3.6% in May. Similarly, annual core inflation has risen by a tenth to 3.0%.

The consumer price index (CPI) rose by three-tenths in May to 3.9% year-on-year in the Basque Autonomous Community (CAV). In turn, in Navarre the increase is more pronounced, six-tenths, and amounts to 3.5%, according to data provided by the National Statistical Institute (INE) this Thursday.
So far this year, prices are up 2.7% in BAC and 1.9% in Navarre.
Broken down by historical areas, the annual CPI in Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa has reached the level of 4%, while in Araba it has remained at 3.6%. Compared to last month, Araba is the area where prices have increased the most, by 0.8%. In Bizkaia they increased by 0.5% and in Gipuzkoa by 0.4%
In the state as a whole, the interannual rate was 3.6%, three-tenths higher than the previous month. Core inflation (general index excluding unprocessed food and energy products) also rose to 3.0%.
