The General Secretary of the PSE-EE, Eneko Anduezaconfirmed on Thursday that he will not be in the next Basque government, believing that his role is “in the party” that works for “the conquest of new spaces” and in the coordination of institutional and organic action.
Andueza believes that “personal ambition should come last” and should think “about what is best for the country and what is best for the party.”
In an interview with the program ‘Boulevard’ on Radio Euskadi, the parliamentary spokesperson also said that his presence in the government ‘is not essential’ because in the PSE-EE there are people ‘who are perfectly prepared to take responsibility for the management of any portfolio in the Basque government”.
On the other hand, he said that “the distribution of portfolios for the new executive has yet to be decided”, but that the PSE-EE must have “more strength”.
In a different order, and, asked by the preliminary programmatic agreement between the PNV and the PSE-EE, has indicated that it will be submitted to the armed forces for a vote from today. Telematic voting is possible until 2 p.m. on Saturday and on Monday you can vote in person in socialist groups.
