Passports, car keys, cell phones – everything under the sun gathers in the lost and found office. The items can be picked up at the information point during the festival, after which the community will help.
Nova Rock is a treasure trove. Every year, huge numbers of important personal items are lost in the hustle and bustle of the festival. The municipality of Nickelsdorf would like to point out that items found during the performance of Nova Rock can be dropped off or picked up directly at the event site at the “Lost & Found” information point.
Lost things at the town hall
From Monday, lost items will be available at the local community office. If you need more information, please send an email to gemeinde@nickelsdorf.at or call us.
Portfolios handed over
“We receive many wallets every year. However, in these cases, clues usually appear for the owner. If it is possible and we can find the home address, we will take the easiest route and, as a service to the festival community, we will return the finds to the owners in an uncomplicated manner,” explains Mayor Gerhard Zapfl.
Explain the loss immediately
Of course he would prefer it if what was lost did not end up in the office. “The best thing is if the loss can be resolved during the festival,” says Zapfl.
In 2023, more than 50 items were found on Nova Rock visitors’ cell phones alone. There were even ignition keys, first aid kits and sunglasses. “In most cases, the items have been returned to the owners,” says the mayor happily.
