Dramatic scenes took place on a farm in Waldkirchen am Wesen on Saturday evening. A two-year-old girl was almost crushed by a blind man – when she was found, the toddler was no longer breathing. After resuscitation, she was taken to Children’s Hospital.
The exact course of the accident was initially unclear, but the following became known: A two-year-old girl became stuck in a roller blind. When the toddler was found around 6:55 p.m., he was no longer breathing.
At 7:23 p.m., resuscitation attempts were made by the team from the emergency medical helicopter “Christophorus 10”. These may have been successful because the girl who had the accident was then flown to the children’s clinic in Linz.
