At least thirteen dead after another bomb attack on a refugee camp in the Gaza Strip

At least, according to the Palestinian agency Wafa Thirteen people have died in the Nuseirat refugee camp, in the center of the Gaza Strip, during last night’s Israeli bombings. Furthermore, the same agency also reports bomb attacks on the Bureij refugee campalthough the number of victims is not stated.

“Ambulance teams have recovered the bodies of eight people killed and several injured as a result of the attack on the Al Rai family home,” the Palestinian agency said. In addition, the bombed points were different because they could also find “five bodies among the ruins”, after a bombardment of several commercial buildings.

Finally, a third attack was registered in Bureij refugee camp, without specifying the number of victims.

Wafa, however, denounces that the Israeli army carried out raids against agricultural areas both north of Nuseirat and in the Tal al Hawa and Zeitun neighborhoods of Gaza City itself. In addition, the army continues its operations against the city of Rafah, on the southern side of the strip and on the border with Egypt.

Israeli opposition leader Benny Gantz has stated that “time is running out” for an agreement to end clashes on the border with Lebanon.
