The event will take place at 11am at the Basque Parliament, where the future Lehendakari, Imanol Pradales, will also participate. The signing comes after the National Assembly of the PNV and the PSE-EE fighters on Monday approved the agreement to govern Euskadi.
The top leaders of the PNV, Andoni OrtuzarEneko Andueza, from the PSE-EE, will sign the agreement to re-proclaim the Basque coalition government this Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Basque Parliament. The PNV candidate for lehendakari will also participate in the event, Imanol Pradales.
The signing comes after the National Assembly of the PNV and the PSE-EE militants on Monday approved the agreement for both sides to re-govern Euskadi for the next four years.
In each case The agreement will not be fully known until Thursdaywhen it is announced coinciding with the full investiture in which Pradales will be appointed lehendakari thanks to the absolute majority of the two partners.
This Monday, Imanol Pradales, PNV candidate for lehendakari, already declared upon his arrival at the PNV General Assembly that “everything is going well” in the negotiations with the PSE-EE to form the next Basque coalition government, although he pointed out that still there some edges with the socialists.
PNV and PSE have already announced that the eleven-page provisional agreement signed on June 10 and entitled ‘Bases for the Agreement to promote well-being, progress, self-governance and the transformation of a global Euskadi’ sets out global principles and objectives of the next Basque government.
