Date:

Now there is a sad certainty: 54-year-old Christa P. from Linz has been missing since October 14 last year. Her family organized numerous house searches, ‘Krone’ reported. After an interrogation in the drug community, the body was found – buried in a forest.

There has been no trace of Christa P. since October 14 of the previous year. She was in a bar in the south of Linz at the time and then spent the night with an acquaintance. She is said to have left the apartment there in the morning. She had been missing ever since – until now.

The Public Prosecution Service is investigating
After being questioned in the drug community, the 43-year-old she had spent the night with confessed to burying the woman in a forest. He had already told an acquaintance about the crime and eased his conscience during the interrogation.

According to the Public Prosecution Service, Christa P. was not murdered; it was probably a drug or alcohol accident.

Investigators led to the body
After the suspect noticed this, he allegedly called several acquaintances and asked for advice. Finally, he would have buried her alone in a nearby forest or meadow area – the Linz public prosecutor confirms the ‘Krone’ information. The 43-year-old led investigators to the spot where he buried her.

The Public Prosecution Service is investigating allegations of abandoning an injured person and disturbing the peace of the dead. An autopsy has been ordered, which should provide clarity in the coming days. The body was initially identified by family members based on clothing and personal items. The suspect is at large.
