Date:

A 62-year-old wanted to push his car out of the garage in Gallspach (Upper Austria) on Monday morning because it would no longer start. The car then took off on its own on the sloping driveway and ran over the man. His daughter (23) immediately provided first aid.

The 62-year-old wanted to start his car in Gallspach around 8 a.m. on Monday – without success because the battery no longer had any voltage. Then the 62-year-old decided to push his car out of the garage. The car began to roll on the sloping driveway.

Unable to otherwise stop the vehicle, the man tried to jump into the car through the driver’s door, but police say he was run over by his car.
