A serious rear-end collision occurred on the Brenner autobahn near Innsbruck-Süd on Friday evening: a local (39) wanted to enter the A13 and overlooked the car of a 25-year-old. Four people were injured in the collision.
“Due to the surprising driveway of the car, the 25-year-old was unable to avoid a collision and crashed into the back of the car,” the police said. Both drivers and two other passengers (aged 25 and 28) suffered injuries and were taken by ambulance to the Innsbruck clinic after first aid.
Huge material damage
There was significant damage to the vehicles. Major traffic chaos was prevented. The lane that was closed during the registration of the accident was reopened to traffic shortly before 10 p.m.
