He spread fear and terror in his hometown. A 14-year-old boy in Perg (Upper Austria) beat up a lifeguard, robbed other youngsters and threatened to kill them. Now the young serial offender has finally been arrested and taken to Linz prison.
The 14-year-old Austrian with a migrant background already has a lot on his plate. He made headlines because he beat the lifeguard of the outdoor pool in Perg to the hospital on Pentecost Sunday. The background: The boy had already been kicked out of the house because he kept causing problems. The lifeguard (68) wanted to throw him out of the institution.
Attack in underpass
Shortly afterwards, he and two accomplices (14, 19) allegedly stopped a teenage quartet in an underpass in his hometown, threatened to kill them and stole a total of 30 euros. The young crooks spared only one girl.
What is worrying is that he has already had a court date, because on July 24 he has to answer for the incidents in the outdoor pool.
Robbery filmed
After the attack in the underpass, the boy fled. Now he and his accomplices – they had even filmed the attack – could be identified by the police as the perpetrators. The 14-year-old was taken to Linz prison and his friends are said to be free.
