Once again, special police forces had to respond to a bomb threat in Innsbruck. An anonymous call was received at the State Executive Control Center on Sunday evening. Two restaurants subsequently had to be evacuated.
At 12:23 p.m., the phone rang at the state police control center. The previously anonymous caller threatened that bombs had been planted in two bars in the state capital and would soon explode.
No one was injured
“After the bars were evacuated, they were searched with the help of special forces,” the researchers said. Fortunately, nothing was found.
“After the search was completed, the bars were reopened to guests,” the director said. No one was injured. More investigations will follow.
