Cologne police ended a hostage situation in the Cologne drug scene late Friday night. According to the police, the two kidnapped people needed medical treatment for various injuries. Four suspects were arrested.

According to the police, the kidnapping began Friday morning in Bochum. The origin of the crime lies in the area of ​​organized drug crime, a spokesman said Saturday. There was a tip to Cologne, after which the Special Operations Command (SEK) was sent to the Rodenkirchen district. There was no danger to bystanders during access to the residential area.
