Early on, a canyoning tour on Saturday afternoon in Kleinwalsertal came to a painful end for one of the twelve participants. The man sustained injuries to both shoulders when he jumped from a height of six meters.
At the start of the tour on the Schwarzwasserbach, the participants had to jump through a waterfall. One of the men landed so badly on the water surface that he sustained injuries to both shoulders.
Flight to the hospital
For the injured man, the tour was soon over. He was rescued from the gorge by the crew of the medical emergency helicopter “Gallus 1” using a rope and flown to the hospital in Immenstadt for further treatment. The other group members, however, continued their “adventurous journey”.
