In Eferding (Upper Austria) an unfortunate industrial accident occurred on Monday morning: a worker wanted to take food samples from a mixing plant with a paddle mixer. When it slipped out of her hand, she reflexively grabbed it – and seriously injured her hand. She was taken to hospital.
A 47-year-old Slovakian woman from Marchtrenk took food samples with a paddle mixer at a company in Marchtrenk at around 5:00 a.m. To do this, she climbed a staircase to the mixing plant.

When the device suddenly slipped from her hand, she reflexively grabbed it and put her hand in the mixing system. She was seriously injured. After urgent medical first aid, she was taken to a hospital.
