AfD in second place – German traffic light at record low, Union retreats

Date:

Who would people in Germany vote for in federal elections? A survey shows: Things don’t look good for the governing parties SPD, Greens and FDP.

According to an election survey by Forsa, the traffic light parties currently have only 30 percent. This is the lowest value that the RTL/ntv “trend barometer” has measured so far.

Only 14% for the Chancellor’s Party SPD
The Chancellor’s SPD would therefore receive 14 percent (-1) of the votes in federal elections, the Greens 11 percent and the FDP 5 percent (-1).

Union as strong as government parties together
The Union would receive 30 percent, as much as all three traffic light partners together. According to the survey, the AfD is in second place (17 percent, +1). The Alliance Sahra Wagenknecht (BSW) has 8 percent (+1). Vote shares for Links are not listed separately in the survey.

The most recent surveys by the opinion research institutes Infratest Dimap and Insa show that the government coalition is doing slightly better. In both surveys, the SPD, the Greens and the FDP together come to more than 30 percent.
