A joyride with an (!) e-scooter ended Monday evening for three boys in Kufstein, Tyrol, with some serious injuries in the hospital. The driver (13) lost control of the vehicle, causing him and his two passengers (13 and 14 years old) to fall.
The serious accident happened shortly before 10 p.m. The three boys were riding together on an e-scooter in Salurner Straße in Kufstein and, according to them, underestimated the speed.
Internal injury, broken collarbone
The 13-year-old driver lost control – and the trio crashed! All three boys suffered head injuries. The driver was badly hit. He is also believed to have suffered serious internal injuries. The 14-year-old companion is also believed to have broken his collarbone.
Trio taken to hospital by ambulance
After receiving first aid at the scene of the accident, all three people involved were taken by ambulance to Kufstein District Hospital.
