The General Assemblies of Gipuzkoa approved the report with conclusions of the presentation for the tax reform afterwards to adopt most of the amendments presented by EH Picturewhich paves the way for the approval of the final opinion Thursday in the Finance Committee.
This Monday, the sovereigntist coalition joined that of the regional government parties (PNV and PSE-EE) to say yes to the report, which abstentions from the PP and Elkarrekin Podemos.

“When EH Bildu makes agreements to improve public policies, it improves the well-being of citizens. We have come very clearly to politics, and specifically to the General Assemblies of Gipuzkoa, to give answers to the problems of citizens and to give joint answers through agreements between different parties,” declared member Haritz Perez.
For his part, the secretary of the PSE-EE of Gipuzkoa, José Ignacio Asensio, considered that with this report “all the expectations of the tax reform have been met”.
The 39-page document drawn up by the president of the presentation, Xabier Otxoa, after listening to the experts who have been going through the provincial chamber in recent months, incorporates more than thirty amendments from EH Bildu, plus as many others. According to Perez, these are the foundations “to deepen a fair and progressive tax reform.”
