Lower Austria police are currently investigating a woman posing as ‘psychic’. Between January 3 and January 21, 2022, she is alleged to have cheated a 59-year-old woman from the Tulln district with large amounts of cash.
The suspect blatantly took advantage of the situation by convincing the victim that her current family grief stemmed from the family’s “previous debts” and that her mother was on the brink of death as a result. Unless the 59-year-old transfers several thousand euros to the suspect to pay off the high family debts. The police are now looking for the perpetrator with a ghost.
Mid five digit amount
The victim gave the alleged clairvoyant large sums of money three times on different days. The total damage amount is a middle five digit euro amount.

Calls herself “Sophie”, is about 45 years old and about 170 cm tall. Speaks German with an accent. She has light brown skin and light brown hair.
