On Friday evening, several heavy storms passed over Tyrol and left their mark. The result was a number of fire brigade operations. For example, in the Zillertal, where mudslides and flooding occurred. The Sellraintal, which was temporarily only accessible via the Ötztal, was also affected.
“Nothing serious happened,” the director reassured after the storm Friday night in Tyrol. In other words, there have been no reports of injuries so far. Nevertheless, there were numerous operations by the blue light organizations.
In the Zillertaler Gerlos, for example, a stream overflowed in the city center. The emergency services defused the situation with sandbags and the use of excavators. There was a landslide in the Gerlosstrasse and it had to be closed for a short time.

It is not yet known whether the fish were able to withstand the natural event,” the police reported.
