A dispute between a family and a man (33) escalated completely on Monday evening in Telfs, Tyrol. After the latter apparently caused parking damage and refused to exchange data with the car owner, the suspect attacked her boyfriend and strangled him. Then their daughter arrived with the pepper spray.
The 33-year-old local resident is said to have caused damage to a parking space in front of a residential complex in Telfs around 5:30 p.m. The owner of the parked car got wind of this and confronted the man – but he refused to exchange details and is said to have become increasingly aggressive.
Boyfriend strangled by car owner
The woman’s partner arrived first. But the violent suspect made short work of him too. “When the partner came over to lend support, the 33-year-old strangled him with both hands in the neck,” the police reported.
The couple’s daughter observed this from the balcony and rushed to her parents’ aid. With pepper spray in your luggage!
After all attempts to calm him down failed, “the daughter used the pepper spray on the 33-year-old Austrian, who was hit in the face and fell to the ground. “As a result of the fall, he suffered abrasions to his elbow,” the investigators continued.
Treatment and alcohol test refused
The owner of the damaged vehicle then brought the man two bowls of water to rinse his eyes. “The 33-year-old refused treatment or an ambulance ride to the clinic in Innsbruck, as well as the police officers who had arrived in the meantime and asked him to take an alcohol test,” the report said.
The suspect was eventually banned from driving his car. His car keys were also confiscated. Follow advertisements.
