500 meters in the wrong direction
During questioning it emerged that the 25-year-old had previously stopped on the Villach track, turned around and drove the motorcycle 500 meters against the direction of travel back to the portal of the Tauern Tunnel and parked the motorcycle there. the tunnel at the end of the emergency lane.
According to the police, he then used the narrow sidewalk to get further into the tunnel. Apparently he wanted to help his friends who had parked their car in a breakdown spot because of a flat tire.
No one was injured and the alcohol test was negative. However, the man was reported for various administrative violations.
