A suspected drug dealer couple from the Innviertel (Upper Austria) apparently had few inhibitions. He is accused of dealing drugs for years and hiding the ‘hot goods’ in his underage daughter’s bedroom.
In early 2024, according to the police, investigations by officers from the Hochburg-Ach PI revealed evidence of drug sales by a 35-year-old living in the Braunau district. In cooperation with the criminal investigation group of the district police command, the suspect was investigated and it was discovered that she had been smuggling large quantities of amphetamine, marijuana and also ecstasy tablets from Switzerland to Austria since 2023 in order to distribute the drugs in the Hochburg-Ach municipality to sell to buyers. Her 40-year-old ex-husband is also said to have supported her in the criminal acts.

Based on the findings of the investigation, a search warrant was issued on behalf of the Public Prosecution Service Ried. Approximately half a kilo of mainly synthetic addictive substances such as amphetamine,
Both suspects have confessed
A large part of the drugs was hidden in the children’s bedroom of their underage daughter. Both were arrested and during their interrogation in recent months confessed to having sold almost a kilo of amphetamine, small amounts of cocaine and 1.5 kilos of marijuana to customers in the Braunau district.

Both are said to be at large. A total of thirteen people were also reported for offences under the Narcotic Drugs Act.
