As the “Krone” learned, the man who had cared for the two girls for a long time was found dead by his parents in the Bruck an der Leitha district. According to investigators, the partner had a good relationship with the child’s father.
Family found dead in bedroom
An acquaintance became concerned because the child’s mother did not show up for work last Wednesday. She then allegedly contacted the father of the two girls – aged five and eight – who had a key to the house. He also allegedly discovered the three bodies in an upstairs bedroom.
Although the mother had gunshot wounds, the autopsy results of the two girls showed that they had died of asphyxiation. The bad suspicion: the mother had pressed a pillow to the faces of the little ones until they stopped breathing.
