Beaten, kicked, bitten, dragged by the hair and locked in the bathroom! A Tyrolean (36) is said to have been violent towards his wife almost every day for five months. “None of this is true,” the man declared loudly and visibly upset.
Between January and May of this year, the 36-year-old from Innsbruck is said to have repeatedly become violently violent towards his wife. However, she did not even appear in court. The suspect himself also arrived more than half an hour late for the hearing on Monday.
“I just forgot,” he justified himself by referring to Heide Maria Paul, who had previously contacted him by telephone and thus arranged his performance in the first place.
New hearing date after suspension
Of course, it could not really be made clear at the hearing whether this or something similar happened to all the witnesses and the victim when they were forgotten. After all, not only the alleged victim, but also her sister and other witnesses did not show up without an excuse. A new negotiation date and thus a new attempt to bring all actors together in one place was set for September 19.
Before that, however, the considerable accusations against the man came to light: he allegedly hit his estranged wife – the man now lives with his mother – in the face several times with his fist and palm, kicked her, dragged her by her hair and locked her in the bathroom. “None of this is true,” the man declared loudly and visibly upset several times.
According to the suspect, the woman was ‘high on drugs’
Rather, it is true that his wife was partly on a ‘drug binge’ and had ‘started taking drugs’ without his knowledge. Her sister, who the suspect described as the ‘boss of the escort girls’, had also been in cahoots with her and wanted to cause him lasting and serious damage together with her sister. “My current wife has already taken everything I’ve ever had,” he complained to the judge.
There are death threats
There were other allegations: the suspect allegedly threatened to “kill” his wife’s sister and destroyed his nephew’s computer hardware. He also vehemently and categorically denied all of this. “This is completely fictitious,” as his nephew and especially his mother can testify.
Subsequently, on September 19, the suspect filed a request to appear as a witness. “Above all, she will be able to say that I did nothing to my wife,” he was convinced.
