The Ramingstein fire brigade coordinated a large search operation in Lungau on Monday. A search was conducted in the “Mösa” ditch for a missing person. In addition to four fire brigades, rescue services and police, the Tamsweg district administration and the Lungau mountain rescue service were called to the area. The Ramingstein fire brigade coordinated the operation with a command vehicle and set up an artificial transmission tower for signal transmission.
Search completed successfully
The drone team of the Lungau fire department was also called in to support the search. The team consists of members of the Ramingstein fire department, the Mariapfarr fire department, the Unternberg fire department and the St. Michael fire department.
After more than two hours, rescuers found the missing person. She was handed over to the Red Cross for further clarification.
