In Leutasch in the Tyrolean district of Innsbruck-Land, a dog attack took place on Monday: a German (45) was literally thrown from his bike by a four-legged friend and then bitten. The holidaymaker suffered injuries, the dog owner is facing a complaint.
The holidaymaker had probably imagined this trip very differently. According to the police, the German was riding past a walker and a dog on the cycle and footpath in Leutasch when the attack took place.
“The dog pushed the man off the bike and bit him,” the driver reported. The 45-year-old was injured and was taken to a doctor by ambulance after receiving first aid on the scene.
