Stolen Home Invasion car found in Vienna-Döbling. What did the perpetrators know? Another attack in Stripfing (Lower Austria) has now been solved.
Horror for the wife of a former construction magnate in a quiet residential area of Döbling on Wednesday evening: After the entrepreneur’s villa had already been broken into, masked men entered the house that night, demanded cash from the woman and tied her up, took money, jewelry and bags and drove off in the car of the woman in her mid-sixties. They left the tied up woman helpless. She was not injured in the attack and her husband was not at home.
What is known so far
This building, which belongs to a former construction contractor, was broken into some time ago – a million-dollar loot! It is still unclear whether the perpetrators had background knowledge or whether information was passed on. There is no trace of the perpetrators, but the Mini was seized near the crime scene. The perpetrators probably switched to another car. The references to background information are becoming increasingly compact.
Brutal robbery for only 350 euros has now been solved
In connection with another burglary on November 27, 2017 in Stripfing (Lower Austria), the police were able to file a report of enforcement. Two men armed with knives had entered a courtyard via the cellar and brutally assaulted the then 70-year-old owner, tied him up with rope and packing tape, doused him with liquid and threatened to set him on fire. The victim, who suffered numerous fractures, still suffers the consequences to this day. His wife was slightly injured.
Bulgarians in court
The meager loot: 350 euros! A Bulgarian (39) was arrested in his home country in 2023 and extradited – he will appear in court next Thursday. It was also proven that he and his accomplice had broken into an apartment in Brigittenau on July 12, 2018. The owner, whose children were in the apartment, surprised the duo, who ran away after spraying pepper spray.
