A 47-year-old motorcyclist died of serious injuries after a traffic accident in Feldbach on Saturday afternoon. The Feldbach police station is now looking for witnesses to the accident.
The 47-year-old from the South-East Styria region was riding his scooter (a well-known Italian brand) on Bürgergasse from the central square of Feldbach towards Mühlgasse at around 16:30. For reasons that are still unclear, the man fell on Bürgergasse 68 and slid 20 metres across the road. He crashed into a tree and a parked car. After initial treatment, the motorcyclist was taken to the LKH Feldbach and from there flown to the LKH Graz, where he died on Saturday.
Feldbach police are looking for witnesses
Since the 47-year-old could no longer be questioned about the accident and no witnesses to the accident have yet contacted the police, the Feldbach police station is now asking for information from witnesses on 059133-6120.
