Shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Sunday evening, the resident was driving in the WiFi tunnel when, for unknown reasons, his right front tire hit the curb in the long left bend. “The car then slid along the tunnel wall for a few meters until the vehicle finally overturned and came to a stop with its roof on the road,” according to the police.

First responders started the rescue chain. After initial treatment, the 19-year-old was taken to the clinic in Innsbruck with minor injuries. “A breathalyzer test on the driver involved in the accident was negative,” the director emphasizes.
