A relationship dispute between an Austrian (34) and a 20-year-old German escalated in front of a house in Kirchbichl in Tyrol on Thursday morning. Apparently the officials were able to prevent the worst.
At around 5 am, a dispute broke out between a 54-year-old German and a 34-year-old Austrian at the family home in Kirchbichl, probably out of jealousy.

During this quarrel, the German destroyed the garden, destroyed parts of the furniture in the house and injured two other people present (46 and 40). When the police arrived, the man barricaded himself in the house and threatened the officers with murder – with a working shotgun inside the house.

The man was finally arrested without resistance on the property of the house around 6 a.m. The shotgun was secured and a temporary firearms ban was issued against the man. After completion of the investigations, he will be reported to the Public Prosecution Service and the administrative body.
