A motorcyclist was riding downhill in Carinthia on Thursday morning when he fell in a left turn. Unfortunately, the 39-year-old did not survive the accident.
On Thursday at 10:25 a.m. a 39-year-old German was riding his motorcycle through the valley on the Großglockner High Alpine Road in Heiligenblut. In the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe area he fell for unknown reasons in a left bend.
Thrown over the guardrail
The 39-year-old was thrown from the motorcycle over the guardrail and fell approximately 130 meters over steep, rocky terrain. All help came too late for the man who died at the scene of the accident; his friend, who was riding close behind him, called emergency services.
