A 75-year-old was walking on a bike path in Mürzzuschlag on Tuesday around 3 p.m. At the same time, an 84-year-old drove her car through a street that the cyclist was trying to cross – just as a downpour fell over the city.
There was a collision between the car and the cyclist. The 75-year-old, who was not wearing a helmet, was seriously injured and had to be flown to the LKH St. Pölten by rescue helicopter. The driver was unharmed.
