From November 2023 to August 2024, a Romanian (32) was self-employed as a care and domestic helper for a family in the Klagenfurt-Land district – but now he is suspected of stealing high-quality jewelry, gold and silver coins, in several attacks stealing a solid silver sugar bowl and other items worth tens of thousands of euros.
On Friday, the police discovered the stolen sugar bowl in his car. The man also confesses to this one theft.
The Federal Office for Immigration and Asylum (BFA) issued an arrest warrant for the Romanian in accordance with the Aliens Act. The 32-year-old has already been taken to the Klagenfurt police detention center.
