A fire on a house facade caused a major incident in Wildschönau (Kufstein district) in Tyrol on Saturday night. The fire spread across the entire facade. The emergency services were able to prevent worse.
At around 04:40 a fire broke out on the facade of a new-build house. This spread quickly and affected the entire facade. The fire could only be contained and extinguished by opening the facade of the house.
Emergency services were quickly on the scene
It is very likely that the fire was caused by burning operations the day before. About 50 emergency services from the fire brigades of Niederau and Wörgl were able to get the fire under control and extinguish it through rapid intervention.
The flames did not spread to the house next door. Fortunately, no one was injured. The extent of the damage is currently unknown.
