The Tyrolean police are concerned about a strange car theft: Before the weekend, a car was stolen from Lake Achensee and on Monday morning it was found completely intact about eleven kilometers from the crime scene. Even the key was there. However, there is still no trace of the perpetrator.
The car was stolen in Maurach am Achensee on Friday evening between 17:30. An immediate search was unsuccessful. The police estimate the damage at over 10,000 euros.
Car discovered in Jenbach
While the owner had to realize the theft over the weekend, he could breathe a sigh of relief on Monday. His car was found. “The vehicle, which had been reported stolen, was discovered at around 8:15 a.m. in a parking lot in Jenbach. It has now been returned to the owner,” the director reported.
Everything complete and undamaged
The car remained intact. Nothing was stolen from the inside either. The car key was still in the car. There is still no trace of the perpetrator. The police investigation continues.
