After the stalking trial – pop star Holzner: ‘The man is being treated’

Date:

She is one of the shooting stars of the hit industry and Styrian Natalie Holzner now performs dozens of times a year. Through a stalking trial she learned the dark side of business very early on. She now tells the “Krone” what lessons she learned from that.

It was a small media tsunami that accompanied Styrian pop singer Natalie Holzner through the fall of last year. The beautiful world she sings about was darkened when a man in his late forties became a very persistent fan of the 32-year-old blonde. The man sent her 50, 60 and on some days even more messages. “I want to die with you” or “The two of us until the end,” the admirer wrote and he gave her a – not activated – tracking device.

Life after the trial
The trial for alleged stalking caused a stir again, especially because the court concluded after investigating and assessing the facts that the suspect had to be acquitted. A shock for Holzner, as she told the ‘Krone’ at the time. But: she continued her path steadfastly, which now led her back to a promotional tour for her new album “Love to Power”. The “Krone” met her, the 32-year-old cheerful person, for an interview in the Prater in Vienna.
