The “Krone” visited the 31-year-old in his home country and spoke to him about his private happiness, fatherhood, Marcel Hirscher and what he will treat himself to with his prize money.
“Crown”: Manuel, the first half of 2024 was a very special one for you, right?
Manuel Feller: Yes, it has been a really cool year so far, a lot of great things happened. First the ball, especially because I got it at home in Saalbach and I could enjoy this moment with family and friends. And then I ended this year with the engagement, thank God the answer to the question was yes. (laughs) I was never the one to say: we have two children, now we have to get married. But it turned out to be a good match, so I tried it during a holiday in Jamaica. The wedding will follow next year.
