A quad bike came off a private meadow path in Ranggen (Tirol) on Thursday and, as reported, fell about 30 meters over a steep meadow. The vehicle was driven by the musician Julia Moretti, the wife of the actor Tobias Moretti.
According to police, it was also the actor who discovered the injured 52-year-old trapped under the quad bike, provided first aid and started the rescue chain. The crew of the ÖAMTC emergency helicopter rescued Moretti with a rope and then flew her to the clinic in Innsbruck.
Quad rolled multiple times
Shortly after 5 p.m., the 52-year-old took the quad bike on private property over the edge of a pasture track and crashed some 30 meters down a steep slope. The vehicle rolled over several times.
It is currently unclear why the musician was wrong-footed with her quad.
