Terrible traffic accident Saturday afternoon on the busy Fernpass route in the Tyrolean town of Ausserfern. Several vehicles collided in the Lermoostunnel. One driver died at the scene of the accident, two other people were injured.
The accident happened around 2:30 PM in the middle of the tunnel. According to the first information from the police, a car hit the tunnel wall for an unknown reason. Several vehicles were said to be involved in the accident.
