Three days after the suspected terrorist attack in Munich, investigators gathered to inspect the crime scene. They looked at the area between the Israeli Consulate General and the Nazi Documentation Center, as a spokesman for the Bavarian State Criminal Investigation Department (LKA) explained. The plane was probably damaged in the firefight on Thursday, but could be repaired. Emrah I., who last lived in Neumarkt am Wallersee, is said to have fired nine shots from a Swiss Wehrmacht carbine – first at buildings including the Nazi Documentation Center and the neighboring Israeli Consulate General. Later, he is also said to have shot at police officers. Officers shot the 18-year-old with multiple shots. The attacker died at the scene. Investigators are looking into indications of an Islamist or anti-Semitic motive.
