Almost a year after a failed death drama involving a young mother during a cosmetic procedure, there are new details. As reported, the woman died in a hospital in Vienna a few days after her lips were injected, in agony. Now the beautician is accused. The widower also wants 65,000 euros from the city of Vienna because his wife was sent home from the hospital.
In November 2023, the widower desperately told the ‘Krone’: ‘We begged the doctor to finally admit her to the hospital.’ His wife Dilber could have been the victim of an Instagram quack. Shortly after the 180 euro treatment at a beautician, the 28-year-old suffered from unbearable headaches and numbness in her hands and legs. The patient initially went to the outpatient clinic on October 12, but was only admitted to the clinic in Donaustadt five days later – 48 hours before her death…
Accused of grossly endangering the community
After a medical report, the Vienna public prosecutor’s office closed an investigation into murder by gross negligence due to doubt: “Causal criminal behavior that ultimately led to the death of the young woman cannot be proven,” confirms the victim’s lawyer Sascha Flatz. However, the beautician is accused of gross public endangerment and her trial at the Leopoldstadt District Court should have taken place in June of this year. But she fell ill.
In addition, there is a civil procedure underway: the widower is suing the city of Vienna, and in particular the health association, for damages of 65,000 euros.
“It is completely incomprehensible why the patient was not admitted to the hospital immediately,” says Flatz and is supported by another report: “The neurologist concludes that the measures in the hospital were not lege artis and that the woman was primarily neurological. “We should have been admitted to the hospital on October 13th – for the clarification and treatment of potentially life-threatening illnesses. The process begins on October 14th.
