A 16-year-old from Klagenfurt probably didn’t have much experience with theft – otherwise he might have noticed the GPS tracker on his loot…
Sunday night was a rollercoaster ride for a 19-year-old. Around 7 p.m., he noticed that his expensive e-bike – worth a few thousand euros in total – had been stolen in Klagenfurt.
What the thief probably didn’t expect: the 19-year-old had secured it with a GPS tracker. After reporting it to the police, the device led him to his stolen bike: “The 19-year-old man was able to find the bike again shortly after he discovered that his e-bike had been stolen,” the police also confirm.
The GPS coordinates led him to a 16-year-old from Klagenfurt, and that’s where the bike was found. A theft report is being filed.
