Devastated by the tragic death, family and motorcycle enthusiasts bid farewell to a 63-year-old couple from Burgenland. The two succumbed to their injuries at the scene of the accident in Carinthia.
The family and friends of Paul and Tanja St are deeply shocked. The couple from the Oberwart district were on their way to the Harley-Davidson meeting in Carinthia on September 6. Shortly before their destination, around 5 p.m., the two had a fatal accident.
The couple had no chance
According to the police, her bicycle collided with an oncoming car for unknown reasons on Rosegger Landesstraße in the Villach-Land district. The Burgenland couple – both 63 years old – fell. The following drivers immediately provided first aid. Despite all rescue attempts, the victims succumbed to their serious injuries at the scene of the accident.
“Far too early”
The relatives were deeply shocked by the news of his death: “It is unbelievable. These two incredibly sweet people left us far too early.”
They will say goodbye on Friday. The funeral service with the holy requiem will start at 3:00 PM in the funeral hall in Grafenschachen. The deceased will then be accompanied to their final resting place. Motorcyclists are called upon to come to the funeral with their motorcycles.
