A motorist turned out to be anything but grateful after help from an ARBÖ roadside assistance driver in Burgenland.
The roadside assistance of the ARBÖ has probably already happened to you that you do not even receive a thank you for the assistance in the event of an emergency. That they too are being punished for helping is new. That’s exactly what happened to a roadside assistance driver from the Neutal test center.
He was called up for a broken down car on the S31. The driver ran out of fuel on the way. The place was even secured by the police. The problem was quickly resolved for roadside assistance. He filled the tank with the gasoline he had brought and asked the woman to follow him to the test center, where the settlement would take place.

On the way to Neutal, however, the driver just drove off – without paying anything. The ARBÖ was on the bill and hopes it was just a misunderstanding. “Of course we regret that, but we would be happy if she still contacts us,” said ARBÖ director Martin Heissenberger.
