A 47-year-old bus driver caused a traffic accident in Vienna-Favoriten on Tuesday evening, damaging two parked cars and the bus. Witnesses immediately alerted the police.
The officers called found the bus driver in the car. It turned out that there were no passengers on board.
Driving license revoked
The man did not provide any information about what happened in the accident. An alcohol test showed a relevant value of almost four per thousand. The 47-year-old’s driver’s license was confiscated. A report was filed against the man.
Man trips over backpack while drunk
Following the incident, the 47-year-old was injured when he fell while picking up his backpack after completing his official duties, and suffered a cut to his head. Police officers administered first aid and called emergency services.
