Amanda Burr was already in the office at 8:22 a.m. when the WhatsApp message arrived with the shocking snapshot of her husband being shot. A spokesperson for the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release: “The caller described Jonathan Freeman as a friend and stated that he had not only shot her husband, but also his wife Teri.”

Murder victims had an affair
Jonathan Freeman was still on the scene in the town of Woodleaf when police arrived. The 44-year-old was arrested without resistance and, according to the sheriff’s press release, confessed to the double murder during questioning. According to an insider from the TV station ‘WLXF’, jealousy was the motive for the crime. After that, Bryan Burr and Teri Freeman allegedly had an affair.
Suspect has no option for bail
Jonathan Freeman, who lived with his wife in Lexington, 50 miles away, caught them in the act. Chief Investigator Ryan Barkley: “Based on the evidence at the scene and his statements, we arrested Freeman on strong suspicion.” The suspected killer is being held without bail.
