An explosive device detonated outside a single-family home near the German city of Bonn early this morning. Investigators are now investigating a possible connection with the recent series of explosions in Cologne.
According to the police, the front door was damaged by the explosion in Wachtberg-Adendorf near Bonn, but no one was injured. The police announced on Thursday that the crimes were caused by clashes between criminal gangs.
Residents and neighbors heard a loud bang around 4:30 AM and then alerted the police and fire department. The search for suspects was started that morning. A helicopter was also involved.
