According to police spokesman Heimo Kohlbacher, the police received an email on Monday afternoon stating that explosives would go off at the central station. “We don’t know if the situation is serious,” Kohlbacher told “Krone”. “But we are now evacuating everyone on site on a large scale.” The Ostbahnhof is also closed, Kohlbacher confirms.

The ÖBB trains run on the routes in front of the stations. There are also delays on the Graz Bim lines that pass through the train station.
