Miraculously, a 20-year-old German woman was unharmed when her car fell off the B 187 in Ehrwald into the Loisach streambed around 2 p.m.
The accident took place at kilometer 9.6. The young woman drove the car on the B 187 towards Germany. For some unknown reason she left the road and fell into the streambed of the parallel Loisach.
The car came to a stop on its side
The car came to a stop lying on the driver’s side. The driver was rescued by the Lermoos fire brigade and then taken to Garmisch hospital for medical evaluation. However, the woman apparently suffered no injuries.
Car recovered from the stream
The damaged car was removed from the stream bed by a towing company.
