A man was seriously injured on Sunday after an accident while working at a transport company. food products located in the Roman winery polygon from Funes (Navarra), eventually died, as confirmed by foral police sources.
The emergency management center SOS Navarra 112 received the incident 5:58 PM Sunday and mobilized firefighters from the Peralta and Cordovilla parks, the medical teams of Peralta and Rincón de Soto (La Rioja), a life support ambulance, a medical helicopter and security patrols to the scene of the incident.
The accident occurred when the worker, a man, was 29 years old and neighbor of Fitero, He suffered entrapment of his upper extremity in a machine.
After release, the emergency services took action cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers and later he was transferred by medical helicopter to the University Hospital of Navarra in very serious condition.
Members of the Tafalla Judicial Police and the Scientific Police of the Foral Police are investigating the causes and dynamics of the incident.
